ONE TOWN ONE TEAM

The Dayton Pop Warner (DPW) Football and Cheer League serves as a Youth Tackle Football and Cheer organization designed for children ages 5 to 14. Dayton Pop Warner operates collaboratively with Dayton High School as a feeder program, maintaining close communication with the high school coaches to ensure that our players and cheerleaders acquire skills conducive to their seamless transition into high school sports. Participants are organized into teams based on their age as of July 31, fostering continuity among peers who will continue playing and cheering together in high school. This approach yields numerous benefits for participants, parents, and the high schools involved, as early engagement in the program enables children to progressively refine and enhance their skills over several years, mitigating the need to play catch-up upon entering high school sports.
